VeteranCraft’s One Year Anniversary Event & Livestream

Can you believe it’s been 1 year already?  This will be Veterancraft’s second community event, but more importantly, it’s one year anniversary event! 12 or 16 opponents will face off to find out who the winner of this huge event is.

Time and Place

It will take place right after the 3:07  P.M. PST. restart. The day is this Friday, which is June 22nd, our anniversary. We will meet at the spawn in Vetropolis 5 minutes before the restart though. The winners will be announced both on here and on the forums, and will be paid within two days after the event. Note: If it ends up going on too long for enough people to join, then I will have it extend throughout the weekend.

The Reward

  • First Place: 25,000 shillings. Bragging rights for a year.
  • Second Place: 15,000 shillings.
  • Third Place: 10,000 shillings.
  • Fourth Place (If we get 16 people): 5,000 shillings.

What You Need

For this you will need absolutely nothing! None of our competitions (we will have three) will require anything.

Referee

I will be the only referee of this event. It only requires a referee and no actual judges is why.

The Events

Here is what you have been waiting for. We will be having three events over the course of the day to see the skill of people in different categories.

  • EVENT 1: Hunger Games
    12 or 16 players will fight in a huge Hunger Games match. If you don’t know much about hunger games, check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0W9g01Kjavg.
  • EVENT 2: Spleef Tournament
    The last 6 or 8 (depending on participation) survivors of the Hunger Games event will battle it out in a spleef tournament in Vetropolis. Spleef will be played 1 on 1 until the best 3 or 4 (depending on participation) players are determined. If you are not familiar with spleef, check out this.
  • EVENT 3: Hunger Games Finale
    If you make it to this event, you’re already a winner. Finally, the surviving 3 or 4 players will have a final hunger games match, determining the order of the winners.

The games will be Livestreaming on our Twitch Channel.

Rules

  • Do not argue with other players.
  • Do not use staff or donor abilities.
  • Do not be a sore loser or winner.
  • Don’t back down halfway through unless you must.
  • Don’t back yourself into a corner and cut yourself off in the spleefing matches.
  • Follow the Hunger Games rules

How To Join Or Ask More Questions

You can join by telling me on this post, not the thread attached to this post. We will allow people to join same day (kind of last minute) as long as they are at spawn on time. You can ask me more questions by asking me ingame or in the thread.

    Can I ask a question? Who will be the live streamer? I can do it whenever but if someone else wants to give it a shot. That is cool. I can serve as a chat admin during the livestream to help people where to go. I wont be participating.

        Work is strict on the hippa laws. I work at a call center, can’t even have my phone with me while I’m at the computer. I’ll see what I can do 😀

    i would love to join, but i would like to suggest that we use kim’s hunger games arena for the finals, sort of as its first match. that is if kim agrees

    Ryan, I cant stream today but I can moderate the chat. I am not sure that my schedule for the day is secure and I would hate having to go in the middle of streaming. If you need any tech help I can but I may not be around to answer all of the time.

      Don’t be too sad about it. A lot of people missed it and we have more events coming up. In fact, we are having another this coming weekend.
