Rube Goldberg Redstone Build-Off

On Saturday, April 6th, 2013, VeteranCraft will be hosting a Rube Goldberg Redstone Build-Off event. We are looking for a maximum of six teams to compete to construct whimsical and over complicated redstone creations in honor of the late cartoonist, sculptor, author, engineer, and inventor, Rube Goldberg.

EDIT: Here’s an explanation of the type of machine: “A Rube Goldberg machine, contraption, invention, device, or apparatus is a deliberately over-engineered or overdone machine that performs a very simple task in a very complex fashion, usually including a chain reaction.”

Example of a Rube Goldberg Machine.

Do you think you’re talented enough to take on the best of the best that VeteranCraft has to offer? If so, I invite you to sign up on our forums for this upcoming Rube Goldberg Redstone Build-Off event!

Too bad I can’t be on at 5:30, or I would sign up. Good luck to those who do!
