Newbie Spawn “Diggy Diggy Hole” Project!

Calling all Vetronians!  VeteranCraft is developing a new spawning area, and we need your help!  The new spawning area will include information for new members and tests that they understand this information before they join the main server.  For the full discussion on this project, click here. With the coming of Summer Break we are anticipating a great many new members and this new area will help these new members decide whether VeteranCraft is right for them, as well as weed out those who would not last here.

Why do we Need Help?

Well, in order to keep new members isolated as they move through this new area, we are constructing it almost entirely underground.   It is 200×200, and will go down to level 20.  Needless to say, this is a LOT of blocks to remove.  We need any and all help that can be provided to clear this area out as fast as possible!

“What’s in it for Me?” You Ask?

Well, you can KEEP anything you dig out of this hole!  Since we’re going down to y-20, this means GOLD, in addition to all the coal, iron, lapis, cobble, dirt, gravel, and Excavation drops you can carry.   You also will get our praise and admiration forever and the satisfaction that you have helped the server grow and become even better!  When we are hit by a tide of kids fresh out of school and looking to swarm Minecraft servers, your work will be very much appreciated.

“How do I Help?” You Ask?

Grab a pickaxe and shovel, and from spawn, follow this map past the airships.  When you get to the graveyard, turn right and head to the ocean.  On a little island, you will see a cobble shack.  Head down and join us!  You may want to set a /home there, so you can come back easily.  We have some chests and repair blocks set up, and just ask staff if you need any additional help.

Thanks in advance for all your help, and we’ll see you in the Hole!
