So it's come to my realization that things just aren't the same anymore. When Minecraft first started, tons of servers were full with players. Now it's quite the opposite. After having played on VC for a few months, I can tell that things aren't the way they used to be. Players don't have full respect towards staff, the economy has tanked, and no one seems to get on anymore. Speaking of the economy, the shop next to mine has, and has had, 2000 diamonds for sale. And they're dirt cheap. What happened to keeping the economy stable? These are just my thoughts and it saddens me to see Mc and VC in their current states. I'd love to hear everyone else's thoughts.
Things will pick up a lot after the server updates to 1.7. In terms of attendance, we're only slightly down over this time last year, and the reasons are known to staff. We are in a bit of a lull, but things are very much alive and kicking, thanks to our core community and donors. In terms of the economy, it is what players make it. Specific issues can be addressed in another thread, if you have ideas for solutions, to get the discussion started.
