Just curious, but why is there no server shop where players can sell raw materials/ores/items to? For those of us trying to gain shillings to build portal ships, maintain rent on ships, buy protection blocks and gain income so we can buy those high ticket items, this would be a great thing. A server shop would set a base price for items to maintain the server economy, the server would gain resources for builds and players would have a place to sell items if they wished. Players would then have the funds to purchase items from other players’ shops they want/need.

Or, if there is a server shop where we can sell things at, where is it located?

You used to be able to sell diamonds at the bank, but it destabilized the economy. If we added a server shop, the supply would go way down and prices would go way up. Having to sell them at player shops keeps the materials in the economy.

The problem is that we would all farm those items to sell them to the server, which will drain server resources, at the same time causing inflation on every item and making shillings worthless

The only item which the server buys and sells is gold. The Bank is just across the plaza from spawn to the left. The reasons why we don't do anything else, Snow and Rang already mentioned.

From time to time we may accept other materials for community or public projects. Setting up a shop and plugging your wares is the way to go. Some creative individuals have become filthy rich with that approach. Another is to keep an eye on chat and forums and see what resources are in high deem. Strike a deal with them as a supplier.
