I'd like to build a public railroad from my area to north shore area at Y=50. I'd claim both ends and make sure I don't intercept any existing claims en route.

Please post a live map link, and provide both start and destination coordinates. We will also require an example of how the rail line will look.

Here's the link

I'm planning on a 2x2 tunnel with one track and a public station at each end.

Coords are -8600 to -9779, 50/51, -3909/10 (it will start just south of Bardiel83's claim and end up under the building housing my beacon)

Here's a shot of how it would look (this is what I'm using to connect the north and south of my claims)

It would be best if the walls/floor/ceiling were of a non natural material so that players who are mining do not accidentally dig into it. Even if they do, something such as stone brick drops itself when mined, whereas stone drops cobblestone - meaning currently players who dig into it on accident would be unable to just replace the block.
