I'll echo terrorisly.  It is extremely unfortunate that this is the case, but it's true.  Staff, being over 18, is comprised of college kids with classes and lives, and adults with jobs and lives.

Right now I'm online at work, which is slow for the moment.  But most people can't play MC at work, unless they're REALLY LUCKY.  I'm not one of those.  And outside of work, I just bought a house.  And I'll tell you what....$140k worth of physical property which needs my care to move into and be made my own, which holds my fiance and pets and will hold my future children....it will take priority any day.  Especially when my computer is still in pieces from the move.   I'm jonesing to get back to Aelfheim and all my insane terraforming, but I still have to unpack from the move, clean my old place before the end of the month, and finish the painting job we began and have yet to finish.

We staff do what we can: we love Minecraft and VeteranCraft, but we've also tried to establish the server so that it can rely mostly independent of constant moderator influence.  Between the trials weeding out the problem players and mature players self-policing everyone else, that's 95% of what we do.  For the most part you all don't really need moderators, which is good because when we DO come on, we want to play MC too, not spend the whole time banning or hand-holding.

That other 5%, that's why the forums are here, and we'll do our best to jump on and address the problems.  MsRomance did exactly the right thing, and when a mod sees it, we'll deal with it next time we're online.
