It appears my PC has been wiped of its memory. I don't know how... or what did it... All i know is i got on my PC today and alot of its memory wiped. MC files some other video games... gone! The worst part is i got on the Minecraft site and it rejects me to log on. It told me to "Use e-mail as username if its a mojang account" or something but... I tried my normal username and my e-mail! It just wont let me on! Yell (Ill be honest nothing important was on my PC but im steamed i can't get on MC!)

Is it saying that your username/password is incorrect? A wipe of your computer shouldn't block access to minecraft.net, since your credentials are stored with Mojang, not on your PC.

I'm just thinking out loud here, but I'm wondering if the wipe wasn't an accident. The only thing that I can think of that would both wipe your PC AND destroy your access to MC would be an attack. The attacker wipes your PC and then used your stored info.

First, don't panic, I'm just guessing. Others may be able to back me up or hopefully refute me.

Second, log into other accounts you have an change your password, just to be safe.

Third, try the stuff on this page to see if you can get your account working again.

Fourth, if you do get access to MC, post here first. I'll mention it on the server, and if we see "you" log in and you haven't posted here that you have gotten it working again, staff can keep their eyes on "you."

Wiped... i didnt mean to say. Rolledback is a better term. I know its just rolled back because i see old files (should be deleted) and my old crapy screen-saver. But earlier i was just being stupid and forgot i changed my MC password a week ago Embarassed . thanks for your post, LWK. It reminded me i changed the password. But im still confused on what made my PC do this...
