Hello everyone!  I'm LightWarriorK, new to Vetronia as of last night, and I thought that I'd use my first post to introduce myself.  I figure if the Admins are nice enough to provide shillings for making a first post here, I might as well make it a good one!

So, yes, I am Keith, aka LightWarriorK.  For those of you who have hung around the official MCF for more than a year, I am indeed that LightWarriorK, inactive Admin extraordinaire!  *makes a flourish*  Honestly, no, I don't do a whole lot there anymore.  The time I used to spend admining was consumed IRL, and I choose to spend what little free time I have playing MC, not moderating that site.  I maintain my status there in an advisory capacity, and also because I've made enough friends among staff that I don't want to lose that camaraderie.  I also Admin the MCF's private staff server, which is really my only "official" duty anymore.

Personally, I am 31 and 352/356ths years old, hold a Masters Degree in City and Regional Planning, and specialize in Transportation Planning for large metropolitan areas.  I have a dog.

I just started Veterancraft last night, and I have to say I am extremely encouraged and excited with what I have seen so far!  I've played MC since September of '09, and I have never, ever, wanted to join a public server.  Just having to moderate and then admin the MCF and deal with the sorts of issues the servers have, primarily dealing with immature users....no thanks.  So it was with great delight to find that Veterancraft has been set up so well, and an even greater delight to see the reception I got last night.  To those that helped me get started, especially TSWG, thank you very much.

I am not quite sure yet what my plans are for Veterancraft, or how active I will be, but if my history is any indication it will be  "a lot."  My current MC statistics have logged over 300 hours, and we all know those haven't been recording since '09.   Currently I have merely placed a little Residence, Highmoor, south of the western rail line, due west of Bilgewater.  I am a miner, and a builder, and I don't make small projects.  I can and would collaborate on projects, so long as I can also do my own.  I'm also pretty decent with redstone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v.....iLDDDqlcyM

Anyways, I'm looking forward to spending some time here!  See you all around!Laugh

I'd like to welcome  you LightWarriorK. You fit VeteranCraft's "target market" if we were to actually have that. Your builds look impressive, and I'm looking forward to seeing your contributions around the server! Thanks TSWG and all the others who welcome new players, it really makes a difference. Smile

Hello, Keith. We met a little last night but didn't really have a chance to talk. We're glad to have you, and I look forward to having you as a permanent member of our little community.

Welcome Keith!

I most certainly emphasize with the description of your past Kiss Fortunately, you will find a bunch of great players in Veterancraft. I'm looking forward to seeing your builds.

Sounds awesome! Even the largest cities here are smaller than some of your projects. :)

I've only been here for a month myself, but with that being said, I dont like to build small projects either :)

Welcome to VC all the same!

Hey man, we met last night. I knew after I talked to you that you would be a good member, and this introduction is definitely confirming that. I like to build huge projects as well, and maybe we can work together some time! I can't wait to see ya on more. Laugh

I have awesome shoulders.

Welcome!

In a democratic system both parties expend a lot of effort in trying to prove that the other party is unfit to rule. Both succeed and are right.
