I've just assumed that my play times are not aligned with peak usage, since I moved to 2nd shift. But I have noticed it has been a little rare lately to have more than 10 users on, and usually when I'm on there are maybe 3-4.

Was a lot busier when I joined the server a few months ago.

Not sure about others, but I am in the process of packing to move and in

the middle of an extensive job search IRL. What little free time I do have

I have been playing a bit of Skyrim. I did mention to others that my

play time would be greatly diminished for a couple of months while I sort

out these RL issues.

Also, from past experience with online communities, fall and early winter

have always seemed bad times for diminished activity with all of the

holidays and other important dates coming up. Halloween, Election Day,

Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Lots of travel time to visit

family and friends and such.

During transition times like these when we wait/fix stuff, many simply resort to playing in single player mode to learn new features. Others have been doing the same on our temporary Vanilla SMP server. Some take a much needed break. But, all in all, the reasons are as varied as the players we have. Wink

I've used the transition as an excuse to take a bit of a MC break. I still pop in each day and vote; but the late nights and hours grinding are a thing of the past for the time being.

Looking forward to the update, and playing with the many new features.

I believe its a combination of things...mainly some folks accidently updated to 1.4 and good oh sandy. I'm sure mid semester for some may be an issue also.

Hmm, guess everyone decided to take their MC breaks all at once... im guilty for it as well as i've mostly been playing League and working 45hrs/week
