Hopefully this is right spot on the forums for this. Anyway, had no idea these were a thing in the works, but I like it, a new mob that doesn't look like a demon (looking at you bunnies). Two of the best parts of terrafirmacraft mod pack to me were the bears and pheasants, glad to see one is making it to minecraft and looks even better as a polar bear. Being the first snapshot probably means we are 6 months or more out from seeing this patch but new nether blocks and mobs I like.

I checked out the bone block, I like any additional blocks people can use for decoration and craft but its odd to me they made another white block. Between white hardened clay, quartz, snow, white wool, etc, seems like they have white pretty covered. Be nice to see them go with either more light source blocks or ones that have more detail to them.

Well, the new Magma block has the ability to absorb a light level and re-emit it.
So if you place a magma block, place a torch on it, then destroy the torch, the magma blocks emits light. 😀
Xisumavoid did a video on it.

That came out a lot faster than I thought it would. Read garbled messages across twitter from E3 saying something about minecraft going cross plat form on realms etc, that would be pretty cool. Anyone played with 1.10, how friendly are polar bears?

Adult polar bears are passive, unless they have cubs, in which case they will warn you to stay away. If you get too close to their cubs they will attack. The cubs are always non-aggressive. Much like the wolves, if you attack a passive adult they will defend themselves. They have a very unique attack which involves rearing up to strike you with their front paws, in the snapshot you were able to interrupt their attack by striking them as they start to rear up( I don't know if this is still the case). Being able to interrupt their attack is super useful since they have 15 hearts of health and strike hard (2 hearts-Easy, 3 hearts-Normal, and 4.5 hearts-Hard). Another thing to consider is that they swim faster than the player, but are not currently good at diving. So if you try to escape to the water, dive under instead of swimming along the top. I hope that they can be tamed/bred/ridden in the future, because they would make for some amazing mounts, since they deal such high damage and can swim well.
