Thanks to the watchful eye of Frenchy, I came to realize that it is actually Seraphs Realm whose head is on the chopping block. Mud or I must have forgotten to update our Wiki page. I'm surprised that no one caught this earlier. Anyways, all things still apply, just switch world names.

Serraphs Realm will be replace with an AMPLIFIED 1.7.4 world. After it becomes accessible for general use, the 30-day count down will begin on Outer Reaches. Actually the count down has already expired, but given the elapsed time, we'll do it again.

Things are progressing nicely. We're finishing up testing our new world management/clean up scripts. Will probably start the generation within the next 1-3 hours. We will have to shutdown the server for about 20 minutes to make configuration changes. Once generation starts, you can expect some lag for the next 3-4 hours, which is one of the reasons why we're doing this before the crack of dawn (at least for those of you close to the EST time zone).

Will the new world also include a new Ender portal? Meaning also a new End? Or are there no plans about that yet?

Phew, the hard work is done - that is all the configuration, checks, log setups, and everything else that is dependent upon a world. Now we will start the pre-generation. Blunt honesty, I don't know how long it will take given that this is an amplified world. Mojang warns that these worlds require some extra horsepower to generate. Time will tell. Hopefully it will be done when I wake up in a couple of hours. After that, I have to set up portals and then we can see about opening it up.

The end is a whole other matter, that we'll cross at a later date.
