Several item updates have been applied to JCShops:

  • Nether Brick Slab (sla net bri) and Quartz Slabs (sla qua) can now be sold in shops.
  • Leaves now use the correct data values (e.g. 18:0, 18:1, 18:2, etc.)
  • All shop inventories have been updated to buy and sell correct type of leaves.

Over time, Mojang - and other plugins - have twiddled with item ids and data values causing certain discrepancies. Long time members probably have tons of old style Oak slabs (44:2), odd Sandstones (24:5), and various other odd blocks accumulated as Minecraft and plugins changed over the course of time. To help streamline things a bit, we've deployed a beta version of JCAlchemist, a plugin that let's us create custom recipes.

Before I continue, let me cut everyone off getting giddy with notions to suggest alternative recipes for hard-to-get items. Its not going to happen. We use this plugin to balance features when other plugins don't. That said, currently there are a few shapeless "conversion" recipes available for all.

  • Old-style Leaves (e.g. 18:4, 18:5, etc.) can be converted to their proper type.
  • Old-style Oak slabs (44:2) can be converted to regular Oak slabs (126)
  • Odd Sandstones (22:5) can be converted to Chiseled Sandstone.
  • There are no conversions for old-style saplings. If you still have them, plant them.
