CraftBukkit 1.5.1 is up and running. Here some of the highlights:

  • The Nether has been reset – you might experience some initial lag as chunks are generated, lava spreads, and DynMap rendering, but it should subside.
  • Vetropolis Nether destination is zone protected for a 50 block radius. Staff will build suitable access paths to areas beyond if needed.
  • DynMap – If you are using Firefox, you may need to clear your local cache and restart Firefox. Chrome and IE don’t need any special handling.
  • JCShops – Updated to include 1.5.1 items. Updated item list can be found here.
  • mcMMO – Running latest and greatest version. Hopefully that will take care of most of the spawner exploits. Then again, we didn’t need to mention that, since you all are responsible Vetronians, right?
  • mcMMO Parties. Old parties have been removed due to conflict with new party commands/features.
  • Residence – Updated for 1.5.1. From release notes it looks as if they’ve added protection for all new blocks. If not, let us know, and we’ll let the developers know.
  • Obviously, there’s a bunch of new items and blocks to play with. HOWEVER, keep in mind that this is still a Development Release. Our tests haven’t uncovered any issues yet, but you never know.
  • The End has been reset. Unfortunately, we still don’t have a good solution for doing periodic resets automatically (despite what the Wiki says). We’ll reset at times, but it’s the least of our priorities for the next couple of weeks.

We tried and tested all major functions/commands, but there are a lot of different ways things can be done and it would be impossible to test everything beyond “It’s good enough.”

If you come across issues, please post them in the Support forums. If you do, tell us what you did or tried to do; what unexpected behavior you witnessed; and any other information that can help us duplicate the issue. Telling us that something isn’t working without any details is a waste of everyone’s time. Thank you in advance for providing as much information as possible.

Mojang tweaked some Item IDs causing JCShops not to recognize Pistons and Sticky Pistons. You will need to remove them from your shops - that's if you have any - and add them back.

You can remove the old items using old sticky piston and old piston as the item names. For example: /shop remove old piston

Add them back in with their regular name piston and sticky piston or select them and use /shop add all

IMPORTANT: You will have to re-enter buy and sell prices and any maximum stock levels.

We have disabled fireworks effects for mcMMO abilities. That feature become old and annoying very quickly.

Apparently the DynMap display issue it not limited to Firefox, but other browsers too. Should you have problems seeing maps, icons, or getting warnings about not being able to load logo.js, simply clear your browser's cache.
