Okay. I purchased a res and then purchased 2 areas to go with it to make it bigger. Unfortunately I did not know about how to select an area you already purchased and expand it so you did not need to use up your extra areas. This info is not on any of the web pages that I could find.

So my question is,

Is there any way I can combine my areas 2 and 3 into the main and make them one res area without having to purchase them again?

I am trying to start up my own little village and eventually expand it to a bigger city and that would be a lot easier if I had one large main area and then when it reached maximum size I could add the areas next to it to increase the cities size.

Unfortunately there is no combine command.  Sorry. :(

The best instruction I could give would be to move the other two areas out of the way, don't delete them.  This way you don't lose the funds used to make them.  You can shift them around using the "/res area replace" command as often as you need, and it won't charge you any more or result in a lost so long as the selection used for the move is the same size as the areas you're moving....if that makes sense.  Save them for future need.

Unfortunately, that does mean that you'll need to spend shillings now to expand the primary area.  It may be best to leave the additional areas where they are for the time being while you build up your coffers for the expansion.

I just want it known that my husband (SlocumFamily) came up to me a while ago and said "You started a thread in the support forum about combining areas...."

Nothing wrong with what he posted, of course.  I am just sure if *I* had written it, it would have been funnier somehow.  (cough).

I had him doing the add/expand/replace/makeeverythingmuchbigger commands for me cause, ya know, at times they are dangerously like math.
