TROUBLE CONNECTING? Read this first. | Support | Forum

Before opening a new thread or private messaging staff members, please go through these common issues as they will solve a large portion of this particular issue.

1. Check the Status of the Server

First, see if the server is online. The easiest way to do this is to check the home page, under the sidebar section that says "Status". If it's green, and says "Online" the server is online, and your connection issue is likely with you.

 If the status says "Offline", check our Twitter feed for any announcements of outages or downtime.

2. Check if all of Minecraft is broken

Check https://help.mojang.com/ to see that the issue isn't with Minecraft itself.

3. Make sure your launcher has the right version of Minecraft setup.

If the server is online but you are unable to connect, the most likely issue is you have updated your Minecraft launcher to a more recent version than the server is currently updated to. To fix this, simply set your Minecraft launcher to start up with the version VeteranCraft is set to, then login.

To change your launcher's version, complete the following steps:

A. Click: Edit Profile

B. Dropdown & select the version of Minecraft that VeteranCraft's server is set to.

C. Save Profile & login.

4. Still can't connect?

If you are still having trouble connecting, are not banned, the server is online, and you are on the right version of Minecraft, open a new thread in the Support forum.

If the server is down for everyone, and there are no tweets or announcements regarding the issue, please open a new thread in the Support forum.
