Recently Danweldore got banned, but also his residence Shima Kimoto is now goverment ground. I don't think this is fair, because although he was the one that got banned I have to now lose residence. I request my residence back, because this is the only house I have on this server and I'm the second owner on SK, since I and the others (that have been banned) build alot on Shima Kimoto, this would be a fair way to solve this problem.

For the time being, it's annexed by the government, but we will consider deleting the residence and removing dan's stuff and giving others like you permission to re-res (re-pay for it) your individual areas. But this is still under consideration.

Sorry, but I think you haven´t understood me well, meat. There are no individual areas on Shima Kimoto, I´m CO-owner of the entire island. This means if you take Dans stuff you also take my stuff, because we are sharing chests. In coclusion, I'm owner of the entire residence as well as Dans stuff. I can also not afford to re-res the entire island, so I'm requesting to get back our (my) residence, seen as the goverment took the residence without knowing that I'm actually also the owner.

I'm sorry, arron, but Residences don't have "co-owners," even if you were +trusted. Dan was the owner of Shima Kimoto, and there's no way to tell what is yours and what is his. As it is inside his Residence, it's all his. If you have a special storage or a subzone in there that was specifically just yours, please point that out to staff and maybe they can help you.

But the Res itself, and everything it covered, belonged to Dan. We have no way of knowing if you helped pay for any of the Res, or how much of Shima Kimoto you helped build. All we know is that it belonged to Dan, and even if you built 99% of it, this would still be the case. Simply because you can call yourself a "co-owner" doesn't mean you can have it. In nearly every case with a banned player, the only thing done with a Res is complete reclamation by the government. The only reason we're even considering allowing Shima Kimoto to be purchased by another player is because we know other hands helped to build it.

I'm sorry if that feels harsh, but it's just how it is with banned players and their Res. We don't deal situations of this size and impact to the community often, thank God, and it's it's not possible for those close to it to not be affected by it. It's rough, but I hope you can see your way through it.

Given how I really like the look of the place, and would hate for it to be demolished, if the government decides to clean it out and then put it up for auction, I will gladly aid a solid take-over plan if so required to keep the place existing. Of course that only applies if the government so chooses, and only if the residence itself is untainted.

I have been co-owner of Shima kimoto since the day it was created. The evidence for this can found in the townhall on the third floor, also you can ask other staff members (Gagonduty, t_koerner). Danweldore gave me trusted permissions because this was enough and since I wasn't online that often, we (me, Danweldore) decided to put all the money on Danweldore's account. All the items of Danweldore are also MINE as I already said. I was not the actually buying the residence, but I had and I still have full ownership of Shima Kimoto, so this means that if you're taking Dan's items, residence and money, you're also taking mine. I can understand I can't just get je money back, but I think there's no reason for taking our residence nor our items. Just because my compagnon did a dirty deed. Personally I think that doing this to me (an innocent Vetronian) should be against the rules and is very childish. I also think it's not fair seen you're just taking my island wich means alot to me and something we've been working for for maybe a year now. Maybe you can your point of view in re-consideration.

Here's some evidence:

PS: If you want me to show you a screenshot of Danweldore actually telling you that I'm co-owner of the residence, money, items, chests and the land itself, I can arrange that.

arron, I'm sorry, but I will reiterate my post. When you did /res info, it said Owner: Danweldore. Whatever help you provided, you were providing it to a Res that wasn't yours. It was Dan's Res. End of story. Even being called "Co-Owner" by Dan doesn't change that fact.

And no, not all of Danweldore's items were also yours. Dan's were Dan's, and yours are yours, and no player can lay claim to another's. And it's currently all in a Res that was owned by Dan.

We aren't unsympathetic to your situation, but let me be clear: we aren't just giving you Shima Kimoto. We still haven't decided whether to leave Shima Kimoto standing, to say nothing of whether to sell the Res.

My recommendation is to find me in game, or (since we don't usually play at the same time) at least find another SM. We can go over what materials could be considered yours, and you should be able to come out of this bad situation with more than enough to make a fresh start. But no, it's not all yours.

I'm considering that my final word on the situation, unless meat, frelling, or another SM wishes to chime in, so I'm closing this thread.

arron, you are attempting to deceive staff.

In visiting Shima Kimoto to look over what could be considered "yours," Emulated and I find two interesting facts.

First, according to the Shima Kimoto Ranking Floor in the Town Hall, you are a Governor:

Second, that picture YOU referenced with you as an owner....

You replaced the blank sign with your own name the morning after Danweldore was banned, an attempt to insert yourself as an Owner after the fact.

In addition, there are LOT of names on the wall in this building....Co-Owners, Governors, Presidents, and Residents....you have been claiming ownership for Shima Kimoto, but what about them? After looking in Shima Kimoto's storage, Dan was responsible for 99% of the items there. The other minutia were placed there by the other players there, of which you only placed a little bit. Should you be given rights over t_koerner's items? Acebly's? DCsaiyan's? Echoz?

So.... this is VeteranCraft, not n00bCraft. Actions have consequences.

You will receive nothing from Shima Kimoto.

Staff will make the determination whether to raze the build to its foundation, or strip it of valuables and sell the Res at auction.

If you attempt to deceive staff again, or persist in your claim for this Res, you will be permanently banned.
