Though I am loathe to post here, since the server update I am booted every 10-15 minutes and have gotten a variety of messages like read time out, or connection reset by peer. However when I log back in I am not showing my rank, I am grey with none of the bishop features. I even tried to reply to a message and got a long red message informing me I was not able to do it, think its in the screenshot. Anyway if I back out to the main minecraft screen and try rejoining I get bishop rank back... until the next random kick. Has happened 3 times thus far, while I try not worry my pretty little pumpkin head about things, I am posting this because its keeps happening and doesn't seem to be occuring to anyone else that could post in my stead.

Unrelated to above issue but an additional possible bug since the server updating. Previously if you sent someone a message like /msg emulated hello, when you wanted to send a second message, you could then do /r how are you today?. Now when I attempt to send a second message using /r it says, message could not be sent to " ". Perhaps the change was intentional, perhaps not, just something I noticed.

UPDATE: So just for the sake of trying to see if it might fix it I went to new spawn and went the gauntlet of questions and came back to spawn. Still having the issue. Basically I get a read time out message and am kicked to the server list, if I log back in to VC I am grey and do not have the ability to do /spawn /home or any other commands, just a read message telling me I am not allowed. If I log out to the main minecraft screen and back in to multiplayer and select VC I log in with Bishop rank. I have had to do it if I wanted to use basic or donor commands about 15 times.

That's a missed feature we are currently working on.

In regards to the permissions swapping in and out, its a bug we're hunting down, which seems to happen when players log in when they are already connected on another computer.

A player's Reply-To address is once again set to the recipient of /msg allowing for additional messages to be sent quickly to the same player with /r, until it is changed by a /msg to a different player or you receive a message from someone else.

Don't seem to be getting read time outs or issues with losing rank anymore either. One thing I have noticed though is the auto afk doesn't seem to be on. Occasionally I have to go take care of some things and forget that I have minecraft running and will get afk kicked or at least placed in afk. So far since the upgrade I have not seen myself put in afk once. Again not sure if that is an intentional change or not.

We are tweaking the AFK system, so it may not work as expected until we are done.

This issue has been resolved. Unfortunately, we took the long route to finding the source. We know we are not perfect, so our first suspicion was that one of our updated plugins had a bug we missed. Sadly, it turned out to be a Bukkit issue. The good news is that we are a little bit wiser and more knowledgeable about the inner workings of CraftBukkit.
