How can I change my forum avatar?

The only option present from my Profile page is: "Select your avatar with your WordPress profile."

I didn't have a WordPress profile, so I created one, but there's no way to select one from my profile there either.

Steve just doesn't represent me that well, so I'd like to pick something else. Is it a donor-only perk?

Forgive me if I am wrong, but I think if you don't write your forum name EXACTLY as your minecraft name, then It would not show your avatar, just steve. I noticed you put a capital S in the forums, but in Minecraft it is lower case.

This is correct. summertree, I would recommend making a NEW forum account with your name case-sensitive to your Minecraft name, and meatbawllz or frelling can delete this current account.

Oh, that makes sense.

What happens to the posts I've already created? Can they be linked to the new account, or do they just vanish, or what?

The name of the account that would be shown for those posts is "Guest."

Ok, I tried to make a new account with my name in lower case (and I even used a different email address,) but it says an account with that name already exists.

I guess you'll have to delete the existing account first?

Correct. If this is what you'd like just let us know. Honestly, better now than after you have 500 posts.

Correct. If this is what you'd like just let us know. Honestly, better now than after you have 500 posts.

Yes, please go ahead and remove the account. I'll log out as soon as I post this message, and check back to see when my existing posts start showing up as guest.

I've deleted both Summertree's and Infectablegamer's account. You can re-create your accounts and make sure the case sensitivity is the same as your IGN, then your avatar should render up from your skin file correctly.

When I get the time I am also going to edit the registration page to stipulate case sensitivity relating to avatar.

Ok, new account created, and it looks like my previous posts still have my name, just no avatar.

Oh nice, it does keep your name. The only 'guest' thing is it shows you as a 'guest poster' in the forum footer stats
