@TSWG

It definitely looks like your mcmmo stats got reset. From what I can see, it is the only one that did. I'll have to take a closer look at the logs, but chances are that you succumbed to mcMMO's inability to handle temporary database disconnects. Welcome to the world of open source. The best that I could do was to restore your stats from last week.

As far as Axy's money. I recall him saying that he lost 23,000 shillings this morning around 5:30 AM EST. But he never said anything beyond that. By his silence, I assumed he resolved it.

he's a quiet sort.  I haven't heard from him resolving the problem.  he's got the attitude of "oh well, time to dig more obsidian" at this point.  I was there today, and did /money; which showed that yes, his account was in fact emptied of shillings.

Last week's stats are fine.  I had a hell of a time levelling my repair again, sititng in my res with 3 broken diamond picks because i didn't have skill 50 to fix them, lol.

I've heard of database server having issues causing everything to appear at "0" but for it to happen to 1 person is new to me. I'm so grateful for logs... and frelling...

Looks like mcMMO changed the manner in which it updates stats. It is caching the information when a player logs on and only saves it when they log off. While this certainly is a performance improvement, it could cause individual problems if not done right.

So, in other words, if my computer shuts down or there is a server crash or client crash, the mcmmo wouldn't be saved?

As long as the server shuts down properly, everything is fine. If your computer crashes, the server recognizes that when your connection drops. Even when what you guys mistakenly call "crashes" the server is generally shutdown in an orderly manner. Furthermore, mcMMO does periodic saves on everything in its cache.

Woe be me for throwing a technical discussion in the public forum.
