Mod: Improved Chat

Request decision on whether it's allowed to use this mod. According to the link above:

This client side mod modifies the in-game chat functionality in the following ways:

Chat entry is split into two lines, chat entry no longer runs off-screen
Text can be pasted into chat with ctrl+v *ctr+v then delete bug is fixed this update
Contents of the text entry line can be copied with ctrl+c
Colored text can be inserted with &c[hex color value] on servers that support it
Chat is logged to chatlog.txt
Chat can be scrolled with the up arrow, down arrow, and END keys while inside the chat entry
Text entry cursor can be moved with the left and right arrow keys

Sounds like an acceptable mod to me, though many of the features seem redundant to changes already implemented in recent minecraft patches. The only real things that I see it would bring to the table are the chat logging and scrolling with the arrow keys.

Oh, this sounds great! I really miss chat logging from other MMO's, especially when someone has explained something I wanted to go back and read again later.

I'll probably install this too, if it gets approved.

Feature-wise, I don't see an issue. I tried using this mod myself a several months ago (December-ish) but it had some conflicts. If you have no problems adding it, feel free to use it. I think I will give it a try myself once more. As always, should it become apparent that this mod adds other "undocumented features" that violate the rules, Veterancraft reserves the right to disallow it.

Thanks. I am mostly interested in the chat logging.

I get tired of doing "\shop browse sell" repeatedly at the same set of shops.

This way I can make a shopping list guide.

awesome idea! to expand on it, having a program parse the prices out and keep a table updated would be awesome
