We have been having some issues with our host's auto-billing system. It knocked the server out earlier today, but thankfully it's only a temporary issue. So far as I'm aware, our tech side is working hard to correct this, but as it's a host issue and not a server issue results may vary ;).
Thank you for bearing with us, and perhaps use your new found free time to get some fresh air, grab a snack, check your email/Facebook, or go to the bathroom (Wash your hands, please)!

Twitter feed isnt updated when these things happen .. maybe after the fact. Atleast when i look it isnt. So how does that help anyone?

Finished the lawn, cleaned the mower. Washed the car, got gas, even vaccuumed it out! Came home, played MC for an hour, went out and cleaned the pool, came back and we're down again. Thankfully I can go back outsi....oh wait, it's raining now

Twitter feed isnt updated when these things happen .. maybe after the fact. Atleast when i look it isnt. So how does that help anyone?
No, it isn't always posted the second the server goes down, but when things happen, that's the first place I post about it.
Here's a recommendation to anyone who wants instant news: sign up for twitter, follow veterancraft, set our tweets to SMS notification. That way, you'll get a text message whenever there's updates.
If there isn't an up to the second update at the time someone goes to look, its probably because we haven't found out yet, or we're in the process of typing out the tweet 
Of course, in the rare case one of the 12 staff members are not aware of the issue, its most helpful to PM me. Of course, give it at least 5 minutes from the time you try logging in and can't and the time still no updates are posted.
I've gone out of my way to try to provide a system of communication that keeps players notified, if you have any ideas how we can add to the home page blog posts, forum posts, tweets and facebook updates, i'd be happy to hear them.

The twitter was updated at roughly 1:00PM. Sorry for the delay, and hopefully our host issues can be resolved as soon as possible.

It was the same issue as the last few days- Fragnet's auto billing system under charged us like $1.22 then their system marked us as unpaid, then suspends us, then give no way to pay the difference- I open a ticket, the staff apologize and manually take off the suspension, then it happens again the next day, lol. It's getting frustrated, all this over a hundred and twenty two freaking pennies... AND IT"S THEIR SYSTEM's fault. It's not like I'm trying to weasel my way out of freakin 2 dollars. LOL. Sorry guys for the interruptions. I'm told it's fixed now. We'll see.
Another burp that will be cured in the near future with our new hosting system.

Bigger problem now is that veterancraft has become kwestcraft. IPs must be mixed up cause when you log in .. it aint VC. This happened after the last restart , roughly 5 minutes ago. 11:09pm EST ish
