Residence resize is already in with res area replace, which works quite nicely though needs to be made more known. It also allows for you to MOVE a residence. Res select size also lists the cost of the current selection, as well as the size, so is easier for someone who needs to check whether he set everything right. Areas allow for different-shape residences already. A walkthrough could be useful. More important to me would be letting the residence market commands work without stating the full name, res market info already does this but the buy/sell commands don't. Also, there's a really annoying thing where a . is parsed as a space for the information texts, so you get "selling residence A for B" or "removed residence A" instead of "residence A.B". And the res market list is currently already impossible to read through and that's with just 1 city using it! Making that easier to use could really help with the residence market.

Shop search in VC is probably partially kept as a local thing so that people have to travel to look at other market districts. Keep in mind that the limited teleport options all were meant to encourage people living near each other. Being able to find any shop means people won't feel the need to have shops near each other.
The findrange is currently big enough to find every shop in whatever city you're in. It's also rather buggy in usage right now.

Something else, apparently frelling's working on plugins, not sure what those cover exactly.

I dunno if I should post this here or create a new thread for it.
I think that the mc mmo plugin needs a bit of an update, or customization for our server. Recently people have probably heard about me going for my 1000 in fishing, but on the side I have been doing some research into the rest of the skills as well and think that with some changes we can improve the use of some of the more ignored skills like fishing and taming.

I have to agree that I enjoy the locality of the shops plug in, but it is a pain to navigate and use.

@All
We have several updates coming down the road. I have tasked mudwog to evaluate the newest CraftBukkit build, plus putting all plugin updates through their usual quality assurance checks.

@Datonis
McMMO has not been updated in a while, because of the lack of persisting placed blocks. I spent several weeks last month helping the developers find a solution. Mudwog and I accelerated the design of a Persistence API for their use. Sadly, but for good reasons, they chose to take the effort in-house, but at least we pointed them in the right direction hopefully.

@Sibbit
Please post some links to your mods' repository. I'll take a look at the code. Also, please PM me some further details of your SW engineering background.

From what I read on the mcmmo site we can change certain things on our server side as in rates. I dunno if I understood it correctly or how much work would need to be done in order to change said rates.

Am I missing something here or is this a continuation from another thread? Or, is the new layout clipping previous posts?

In a democratic system both parties expend a lot of effort in trying to prove that the other party is unfit to rule. Both succeed and are right.

Sibbit wiped the original post.
