I have notice that there are at least 20 people on a day at a time and on the weekends it is more like 50 people on. But one thing i have realized the amount of people at spawn is still like only 3. I think that we should try adding more activities to spawn to get people over there. There used to be spleef but that is broken. there is pvp but not many people want to get killed. And with the new spawn we dont really need the visitor center. so that gives us a lot of indoor room and there is all the area behind VCU. I think we should try making more things to do in spawn. such as a roller coaster or something. maybe make an egg volleyball and/or tennis court. just something to make spawn more entertaining.

While I enjoy the idea of adding more activities, why must they exist in Vetropolis? Vetropolis is a nexus of sorts, where people can travel to and from quickly - IMO it shouldn't be the destination.

Maybe make a flat land with plots for your own games/activities. (For those fans of MindCrack: Guude Land)

Maybe players would have to pay a small fee to get a plot.

I consider Vetropolis as a nexus as well, of both information, travel, and shopping...

...and also as a showcase!  I think that Vetropolis is the perfect location for the "best of the best of the best" that the server can offer in terms of building quality, and there should be no room for cheap and shoddy buildings there.  Not that there are, but as Minecraft evolves there are always some structures that will need to be revisited for new uses and materials.

The Vetropolis activities I support the most, aside from the existing PvP and Spleef, are competitions like what we had for the Rail Station.  Pick a building that needs rehabilitation or replacement, or build a new building completely, and hold competitions for who gets to design it.  Then have it be a community build, maybe even timelapsed.
