Hello ladies and gents,
Here's what I'm suggesting: A weekly/by-weekly/at-what-ever-interval-really end reset, at let's say 5 PM Friday (Just an example). Everyone get's ready for a huge free-for-all end battle where the objectives are: 1) Murdering the dragon, 2) Murdering each other, And 3) More murder. As we have seen during the Arda opening PvP event, a lot of people came on and it was tons of fun (Mainly because I won )
People are attracted by rewards, and what's a better reward than a sated blood lust and a Dragon Egg, one of the rarest blocks in the game?
This also offers a chance to nerf people with very high McMmo skills, as some people were complaining that it makes the PvP event unfair. Also, since everyone will bring their own gear, there won't be a single person in diamond armor fighting off 20 unequipped opponents.
Of course, being in the end, it's a rule-less (Except for hacking rules of course) battle, where no items are outlawed (Including beds, Tony, including beds).
I think this would be a great way to get a lot of people on at once and would somewhat replace the events until we get some stadiums built and stuff.

I could go for a regular End reset, but considering how many time zones our people live in, it shouldn't be at the same time every time. Someone on the other side of the planet from me would never get a chance, if it was always at their 3 in the morning, for example, or mid-day when they're at work/in school.

Yes, you do bring up some points I agree with. Especially the substitutions fot Events. The Arda spark brought back so many people, which is a good thing for it did its job. The people behind the curtain's work payed off and we have at least 20-30 people on at noon. The population has returned and people are playing again. But VeteranCraft/Arda has no official PvP Arena, and we are forced to go to Vetropolis' Arena. Which isn't a bad thing, it's just a walk away. But I remember the PvP Bloodbaths (official or player made) back in the day, those were fun. Everyone was trying to get the prize: The killstreak man's armor. If we open the End up to updates, there would be a larger boost in population (I'm not saying Arda didn't do its job, the Staff executed the Arda project perfectly in my mind) for everyone would want the main reason we all sacrifice our lives in the End: The Egg. The Egg is somewhat of a value, and can be sold at massive prices. I myself would keep it in the names of New Innsbruck and Vivol (two would be better), but people may do with it as they please. But my standing on this suggestion is: This would be a great idea UNTIL we can get some proper events going. A constant massacre would pretty much draw the need away for any use of an Arda PvP Arena.

For the End, I'm not sure how "regular" it would be, but whether it's on a schedule or random, I'm sure it wouldn't be a frequent reset. The Eggs are worth killing for and risking everything for because they're rare, and if there were too many of them in play, they wouldn't be nearly as special.
As for PvP, the summer is a tough time to organize things. And since Exodus doesn't have any arenas, we're dependent on players to provide the locations for events. That does include staff, but they wouldn't be "server-built or sponsored. If PvP in Arda is something you all want, then I would suggest getting crackin' on your arenas.
