Hi :D

I was thinking last night and came up with Donor Vaults

A donor vault is essentially what the title says, a vault to store valuables, free when you donate.

A donor vault is just an idea I thought of, post below telling me if you think its a good idea, if I get positive responses I will post an official thread post.

It's an interesting idea, but I don't really see the need since Residence is so cheap. To me, Donor Vaults are more useful on servers that employ Lockette or the like, so having special ultra safe areas that only you can access is a bonus.

I think this could be something - not so much in the form of a room, but what about as a form of virtual storage? We already have ender chests that are basically a linked form of storage that you can access anywhere you put down the chest... so what about taking that to the next logical level? Virtual storage!

Donor types in a command like /donorvault and it acts as if they right clicked on a physical chest, popping open a storage window into their personal, virtual storage vault. It'd act otherwise the same as opening a small chest and could be used the same and closed the same when done, but would be accessible anywhere, anytime simply by typing in the command.

You're near bedrock, digging away... you fill your inventory but don't wanna go /home to clear it now because you don't know if you could find your way back to where you're at. No problem, you're a donor and have a donor vault. You type in /donorvault and open your virtual small chest, move some stuff into it to clear out some of your inventory, then close it and keep on digging.

Some form of virtual storage like that would be a definite perk I could see being useful.

Shops, ender chests, and normal chests placed in a residence offer 3 different means of "vaults" currently for a player, donor or non-donor.  I think this is covered with redundancy already.

Yes, we use the shop plugin for our server armory (as a storage means). There are literally millions of items there. All you do is walk in with something in your hand and type /shop add all. Simply create a 500 shilling shop in a private room in your house, and you can use it like this. It's so fast, and stores countless items cleanly out of sight.
