I was wondering if we can have a billboard at our spawn. It will be convient for players. We can post things related to trades,sells,buys,towns,jobs and etc... I know the its suppose to be used through the forums but if you think about it will be alot easier on the players just to go to spawn and see all that stuff. Unless you want everything through the forums.

Anyways! Hope you can consider this!

Continued use of the forums would allow players to stay current with the goings on with the server, also who would update the bill board at spawn? If all players have access what is to stop grievers from stealing the signs? I ask these questions to find a solution, as I do like the idea of a job board, not to harass Pat. Does anyone know of a plugin that might feed Pat's idea directly to the forums?

Well the forums still get used quite frequently and in my honest opinion i dont see much use of it dealing with jobs and the things i listed up above. Like i said if there was a billboard it will be convient. And griefers? honestly i cant really see people taking signs...

Just saying pat, greeifers would take the signs SOLELY because it will annoy someone

but this idea does seem like a good one, maybe have a group of moderators that are allowed to place the signs. i do see the flaw in this thouhg

In the short term: NO

In the long run, we will probably have a more integrated economy and shopping systems that can be accessed both from in-game and via a web portal. Don't bother asking when that will happen or what features it will have. When the time comes, we will engage the community to see what works best. However, this isn't something we can begin to consider until we are on a dedicated system.
