Now, this suggestion has either been suggested already and turned down or it has never been suggested. I personally expect the former, but even then I would like to know why. We have a lot of awesome builders in the VeteranCraft community and I've seen it. I think it would be cool if we had a creative server where we could share some really over-the-top creations with no limit. I could already see many reasons why we wouldn't do this. Too easy to grief, too easy to ruin, too easy in general... The list goes on. The thing is, however, that I would love to make something amazing in creative and be able to share it to the extent of allowing you all to interact with it yourselves. Believe me, I'm quite content with survival, but I think it would be incredible to see what everyone could come up with in a world where survival, supply, and gravity are no issue. So what do you guys think? Would it be a great idea to build a creative server for all of our creative Vetronians? Is there a reason why it's the worst idea you've ever heard? I'd love to hear whatever any of you have to say.

Well, it is not the worst idea I've ever heard, however, I think, VC doesn't need that.

To show your creativity is what you can do more successfully on the main server than on any superflat creative world. On VC, you do not only have the aspect of: 'Look, I've built this.', but: 'Look, I've built this. It fits into the environment. I had to flatten the ground. It was hard work to gather all the materials.' It is worth more.

If you want to test something, as many surely do, you can start a single player world. And if you want to share the constructions you made there, then this is also possible: Send them the world or, even better by using MCedit, the schematic-file of your construction.

My biggest concern with a separate creative server is the potential division it could create between the community. What if, say, I'm only interested in the survival aspect, while my greatest friends on the server are only interested in the creative aspect? The separation would divide in game time, and eventually, create a rift within the community. Also, would there even be enough interest to warrant hosting another server just for something that is so easily done in single player, as Pauli stated? I just don't see a huge reason why this should happen. VeteranCraft is about collecting all of those materials in a legit manner. Sure, you could get creative, but I think our server already has some amazingly creative builds with the resources we have.

After thinking about it (and looking at what you two have said), I think you're right, we really don't need a creative server. The real reason why I was thinking it would be cool was so we could make creations involving command blocks, which using things like teleporting can open endless possibilities. I also noticed that one of the real reasons why I wanted this to happen was so I could share my creative creations with friends... but let's face it, most of the creations I've created recently have blocks or functions that came from mods... and a highly modded VC is something I never would expect to happen in a million years (especially since people have already said that VC in its essence is still supposed to be like the nice vanilla version we all know and love). Not that I don't like mods, since they can be added to customize the game so you like it more. I really was just thinking about that, But I guess I should try to build things as similar as I can in vanilla Minecraft in VC. It is too bad I can't share the real things, but we can't always get what we want, even in Minecraft. :P Anyways, that probably means that this suggestions done, and pretty quickly, I might add.
