i have renamed devilvill district 12. it will be a mining town in witch the soul goal will be to mine. but it will have a twist. since it is from the hungergames. i will be acting as president snow. for u who dont know he is the president of the capitol. and as such i will be collecting taxes. the tax for a resident will be 5 iron. 10 coal. 2 gold. and 1 diamond a week. for the 1 person who lives here. Zuros. I will be more than happy to give u back ur supplies it took to build the house. and since u didnt pay anything for the home i wont owe u any money. There is no cost to live here. exept for the taxes.

sill the idea is a good one and i would be happy to join, but the diamond a week sounds a bit stressfull to get. maybe just coal and iron are nessisary but gold and diamonds get a bonus of some sorts

I'm curious what the purpose of the tax is?
Some things it could be:
1) A tribute (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tribute) - I am your Lord Ruler, President Snow! If you want to dwell within my presence, you must pay me a tribute so I know how awesome I am, and I can stockpile valuable resources for my own use!
2) A tax (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tax) - Come live in my awesome city! I have so much planned, so I'm setting up a tax for the residents - these resources will be used to make the city even better! With your taxes, I have planned to build a railway connecting to other major hubs, a portal ship to get you here easier, and a community storage center for all residents to use.
3) Somewhat related: A property tax (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P.....operty_tax) - This city is located in a prime location! If you would like to live in this awesome area too, you will need to fork over some valuables because there is a list of people that are waiting to live here too.
4) A fee (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fee) - I found a spot with awesome resources just waiting to be mined! If you would like to mine some of the resources, I'll give you permission, but you need to pay me a recurring fee to be able to mine.
If you are going after #1 or #3, you might have a hard time getting people to move in (I doubt the people in the districts in the hunger games would choose to live under President Snow). If you are after #4, you also might have trouble getting people to buy in, since people could just branch mine under your city anyways. Unless you could residence all the way to bedrock to keep people from mining, but then you would still have to prove that your city had the best resources under it. And then what happens when the area under your is stripped of all valuables?
Hopefully you are shooting for #2, where the valuables that you require will be put back into the city, and residents know that their hard-earned resources will go to make their city better.
Just some thoughts!
