I am designing an airship I wish to dock with the other airships that will lead to my new place, Zerus. I have not completed the full model yet, but I want to at least share the inflated half first to see if it is valid so I don't need to change it later. I recognize that the ship itself should be smaller to make it more realistic, but before I realized it I created a much worse airship that was mostly the ship and hardly anything that made it float (That would be the mostly completed ship next to the featured model). Anyways, if this first half is approved I'll get to work on the ship part. I hope to hear back soon!

(P.S. The model was designed to fit the dimensional criteria of one of the four open
spots in the airship yard's side.)

UPDATE: I decided to do the ship part despite the lack of response because of too much excitement. I myself enjoy this airship model over any of my previous submarine models, not to mention that it was fairly cheap to make considering the time it took. I would like to hear back if this model is ready for flight. Respond to
this when you can!

Design Approved, from my standpoint.
The one change I would suggest is to make your propeller less swastika-like. I know it's not, and most on VC would know it's not, but that sort of propeller shape has invited a lot of headache in the past.
In any case, go ahead and start building the ship. Make sure you have your 15,000 shillings required to park the airship and pay for the portal.
Once it's built, place a Res or Subzone around it, and mark the corners with blocks, so frelling can select it easily. Post when it's all ready, and he'll get around to doing it.

Not for the second ship, we've never done that. That's what the extra 5,000 shillings covers, since folks aren't allowed to build in Vetropolis. In other cases, both ships need to be built, so there's no extra fee.
