Hi, right now, even though I don't have the funds, I'm currently designing my ship for my city. I would like for it to be large, so I'm saving Up! But I would like to know, what are the length and width limitations? Thanks!

Airships have limitations, they're on the page in the Vet Guide tab above.

Regular ships have no limitations, see the size difference between the small ferries and the Rhodes boat.  There is a variance in charge with the size of the slip, but I don't know what it would be for a VERY large ship.

Take a wander over to the docks, pick one you like, and just ensure your ship fits within the space provided with enough room for a few blocks of space and your staircase down.

and don't forget, that there must be a water connection between the two ports. If you're not at the coast this might be more difficult for a larger ship.

One of these days, someone (hint, hint) will roll these factoids into the Portal Ship page. Kiss To clarify, not only is water connection required, but the waterway must be realistic. A ship with a draft of 3 blocks can't go through a 1-block deep swamp. Also, any bridges - as rare as they should be - along the way should have sufficient clearance for the ship to pass under.

Hence the reason why my harbor entrance to Highmoor is as tall as it is.

On a totally unrelated note, the Portal Ship page was updated to include more specifics as to what is required.

Haha thanks guys for all of your answers ;) But I assure you that I have complete clearance of a ship of pretty much ANY size, I'm right on the coast WAY up North, it's almost a straight shot to Vetropolis.

Thanks!

Thanks for taking the time to fold in additional info. Haven't look yet, but will soon.
