The cost of a portal is 10,000 shillings.

If you want a small ship in Vetropolis, that will cost an additional 500 shillings

If you want a large ship, it will cost an additional 5,000 shillings.

So the cost of establishing a portal ship in Vetropolis to your town will range from 10,500 to 15,000 shillings, and that's not including the design or materials for the ship.

In addition a builder will likely request payment for building a ship for you.  Making a small ship is easy and anyone can do it for cheap or free, but making a large one (especially one from scratch) can be very expensive.
