So, is it possible to buy an Airship and make it go to the Nether? I'm planing on building a Village in there, but if I can't get an airship to it, then I guess I won't build one.

I've got a little experience here in that I have a village in the nether already (granted it's a small village, lol, but a village none the less). Biggest thing to keep in mind is I don't even know myself if the nether is permanent like the main world or is resettable like the secondaries. I've kept my own village there small for that reason (if they end up resetting it anytime in the future, I'm out a few thousand shill for the res area at most and should be able to recover materials before they do) - you should check to be sure you know before dumping any more shills than that into any project you plan to make in that world.

Another thing to keep in mind are ghasts. I learned soon after I made a res in the nether that ghasts aren't affected like creepers are on the main world. Ghast fireballs will blow up anything that isn't stone based (stone, cobble, brick, stone brick, etc), whether in a ressed area or not... so you'll wanna build with stone based blocks. With mine, all structures in my village are stone based, and I have an underlying sheet of cobble running through the village with one block of netherrack above it for asthetics, when ghasts move in, i just lose the layer of netherrack, which is quick/easy to replace).

As a sidenote, you can turn off pvp and turn on healing in your res to keep the area safe for visitors. Nether pig zombies will still spawn close to your area and walk in from time to time. I solved that problem by placing 5 or 6 iron golems in my village (with a fence around the area to keep them from wandering off), they take care of any zombies that wander in.

As for an airship... they may not be too keen to allow airships going cross-world... but even if something like that ends up being the case, you could still have an airship going to a res on the main world and have a nether portal close by to forward people on to your res area in the nether (in which case, you'd wanna set your nether portal first and then set your portal ship dock close by).

if I catch you sometime in game, I can show you how I have my own humble area set up... who knows, it could give you some ideas.
