I know we're eventually phasing out freestanding plots but they will be replaced with similar sized shop areas, so I would like one.

Hello, I am bobsnop. As you can probably infer, I am interested in owning a plot at the Merchant Hall. I have the correct fee of 600 schillings, and I want to sell my many items (and wishcle's). I currently do not own any shops in Vetropolis. And I have read and fully understand the JCshops guide. As one of the first American Bankers, Alexander Hamilton said, "In the usual progress of things, the necessities of a nation in every stage of its existence will be found at least equal to its resources." I'm not saying my store will be "The Greatest", and I am not saying the planets and stars will revolve around it. I am saying I will create an economy balancing, fair shop for all. Good day.
