As you may know, I enjoy mountains.  While exploring a fresh 1.8 world I ran across this savanna biome that is one huge plateau.  It tops out at y=220!  Bonus:  there is a very large mushroom island chain 50 blocks behind the point where this screenshot was taken, and there is an underwater temple within 100 blocks. Cool  If you don't see me as much for a bit, this is why!

Savanna Plateau M biomes are some of the rarest and most impressive.  It's not just 1.8, but 1.7 as well.

If you want this experience, but want it on VC, there ARE two of these biomes in Arda, you know. Wink
