Is there anywebsite where I can save a world file and access it later. My mom is wiping our computer and I want to save my worlds. Please get back. Thanks.

Fig, go to C:\Users\[whateveryourusernameis]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft, and backup the Saves folder.  You may also want to backup the texturepacks folder and mods folder, unless you want to take the time to download them again.

Additionally, you might want to also save:

  • servers.dat - this file contains your multiplayer server settings (e.g. IP address, ports, etc.)
  • options.txt - contains option configurations such as key assignments, video settings, etc.
  • lastlogin - account/password

BTW a Windows shortcut to getting to the .minecraft folder is to open Windows Explorer, type %appdata% in the address bar and hit Enter.

Well thanks guys. I saved all my stuff to a cd and now I'm just going to hope I didn't lose my PVP city or my hockey rink.
