No, I'm not being perverted.
The term "mindgasm" is a verb referring to the explosion of new thought and understanding when a revelation is unveiled. It's a single word to use in place of the phrase "blow your mind."
Anyways, I thought it would be nice to have a place to show things we've found that will cause others to have these mindgasms. I would like it to be open discussions, so please note that I am not going to take it kindly if anything here (which may or may not be religiously or politically controversial) is attacked. If you just don't like what's posted, ignore it. I don't want anyone feeling they can't post anything they feel is relevant to the discussion.
However, respected and civil debate is welcome, and I'm sure anyone who has anything like this to share would welcome the chance to share more, and defend their point.
On that note.....
I've been getting into New Age and Sacred Geometry in the last year. It's not something that can be shared easily, nor is it accepted by a lot of people. But it's important, and I'm still just learning how important. You'll see a lot of this stuff in the things I build (already in the Highmoor plaza), and it's impossible to describe how deep this stuff is. Now, I have a lot of people in my life, and I've shared that link and the basics of what it covers (specifically Sacred Geometry) with most of them. NOT ONE has responded like I did when I found this. It's not something I can force, and wouldn't even if I could. A person has to come to it on their own. So I accept it, but I still want to find ways to present the information.
To that end, I created this Mindgasm. It is primarily for my sister who teaches High School Art and would respond to some of the comparisons I make, but I've had some success in sharing it with others. If you go through it, there is one important thing to do: Keep an Open Mind, and take it or leave it. Enjoy!

I briefly went through thespirit science link I told you but I have heard of sacred geometry and considered giving it a whirl a couple years back. Its very intriguing - I almost treat it like I treated astrology and yoga when I first got introduced to them. I was very... confused, but once I had an understand, it all made sense and you started to see the theory and why they did that in motion.

I studied Architecture under a very well known canadian architect about 12 years ago. I helped him build his dream project in the woods of Saskatchewan. A floating home that is both tax free, and costs less than $20000 to build start to finish. We managed to build the entire home, 2 levels, with both a kitchen, and bath in just shy of 6 months working together.
Interesting thing about the whole experience: every single piece of lumber was cut prior to the project even starting. Everything was based on the Golden Rectangle system. .618 was the magical number that has since been burned into my brain. I even use that math when working on branding and logo design at work. People don't know why they like the designs, but it's practically built into their wiring that when they see natural numbers drawn into a flowing piece of artwork, they will instinctively like it.
.618, for those reading this and don't know what it is, is one of the oldest known equations for building, or sculpture. The Egyptians, Mayans, and Romans all used this equation. Even lost civilizations, like the creators of Stonehenge, and Easter Island statues used it. It even works in conjunction with the standardized imperial measurement system: 1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144 ... 144 inches is 12' ; which is a perfect utility for designing a modern structure.
If you want to imagine it further, take a look at a Maple leaf, a conch shell, butterfly wing. Everything you find living in nature has this very unique mathematical equation built into it. Via the curve of a wing tip, to the placement of the suction cups on an octopus' tentacles.
Amazing stuff, and I'm very glad to see others are following the same path!

It's all related!
Actually, there is a subtle but significant difference between .618 and the sequence of 1,2, 3, 5, 8, 13.....etc
.618, or the ratio of 1:1.618, is known as Phi, and as a ratio has no beginning or end. It's infinite in both directions.
The Fibonacci Sequence, or 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, etc. is not infinite in both directions. It has a beginning with 0 or 1. This is because in the 3rd Dimension, things can't come from infinitely nothing, they do have to start somewhere.
The Fibonacci Sequence approximates Phi, getting closer and closer the higher you go in value. When you divide one number by the previous, you'll see.
By the time you get up there in the numbers, Fibonacci becomes indistinguishable from Phi.

This video explains a really interesting feature in nature involving the Fibonacci sequence. It's also a really cool channel in general if you're interested in math and numbers. The channel Vsauce also has some really cool mindgasm videos.
