And no, F1 isn't a mod. It's quite horrible.

I only moved it because you're not asking about VeteranCraft. If you're not talking about the server, it doesn't belong in the server's general discussion board. You're asking about a mod for yourself.

I've never had the meatbawllz to attempt installing a mod. I've read into it and was intimidated. I'd like to have minimap at least.

I'm not sure if there are any mods for removing chat but I do know that in 1.3.1, there's an option to hide the chat or just change its opacity.

i kno im asking a lot in this, but is there anym mod that allows for you to not see anything people post in chat, but moderators can still overide it to make sure you kno something, like maybe chat is blocked but party chat is not?

Apparently it's a feature that is supported in the new 1.3 version of MC. Just going to have to wait and see how things roll.

A feature slated for JCChat is the ability for players to ignore chat from select players. There are other channel-based features that are in the pipeline also, but we are expectantly waiting to what capabilities Bukkit will give us to actually tweak the client side GUI. We'd love to see the ability to create separate chat windows for party/channels/admin, without requiring individual client modifications.
