I plan on starting a town, but seeing as I need to first terraform the area I plan to build on, I need some workers to do so since I tend to get busy and need to tend my shops and work on planning this rather large project of mine.
The area is x: -5568 z: -1240 until x: -5419 z: -1395 I want the ground level at 65, and since this plains area is a rather "hilly" spot, you would most likely be replacing dirt and such everywhere.
any "treasure" you find whilst doing this job is yours, any leftover resources should be left in a chest near the area, but you are welcome to take them as you please.
further explanation will be given when the job is taken, see me in game once you've accepted.
my starting starting offer is 10k.

I have a request: Please don't do this.
It's currently not a Rule, but we now ask folks to only flatten as you build. This is due to the ridiculous amount of scarring caused when folks start a project, flatten a massive area, and then abandon the project or the server. Vetronia is littered with already flattened areas that haven't seen anything done.
Please try one of these options:
1) Flatten as you go. Flatten a small area, then build a building. Flatten a little more, build a little more. Lather, rinse, repeat.
2) Find an already flattened area from an abandoned project/player and make a request for removal of whatever is there. You can then use the area. Staff can help you look; I would suggest some areas now but can't get on the server to check whether they're active or abandoned.
3) IMO, flattened builds are ugly. If you're talking about this area, it's really not that hilly, certainly not unbuildable. The best looking builds are those that work with the terrain, not level it. This is almost without exception, those being places like Vetra where ridiculous amounts of time and effort have gone into the build. If you need some inspiration on building with the terrain, visit Mittelwald, or Foxtown. I don't have enough of the city done to recommend Highmoor right now, but you can see from my road layout that there won't be much flattening done.
Thanks for considering it.

Yeah, I understand, I'll have a look into it, most of my projects I work with are usually done on a flat land, which is why I started this thread.
I was contemplating asking if I would be able to get a copy of the world file to work on it in creative SSP, but I doubt that it would be possible, so I never asked.
I'll keep this in mind, so this classified doesn't need to be considered a job anymore.

Thanks.
You're correct, the world file and seed are proprietary to VeteranCraft and won't be released.
I'll leave it open, depending on what you come up with. Again, at this time it's not a rule so it's not hard and fast, but we appreciate that you're looking into alternatives.
If terraforming please keep in mind the new build rule: http://www.veterancraft.net/ne.....yone-read/

It's just personal preference. I don't "hate" anything....except stuff like the pics meatbawlls posted in that link. Using the terrain can be restrictive, I'll be the first to acknowledge that. I don't blame anyone for flattening their city, so long as they make good use of the land they flatten.
