This is not an application, just a few things that might help you get started . I haven't yet taken a look at this building, but I'll give you some insight from my house building (still in progress .)

It was this summer that me, an ambitious, handsome, and still relatively poor Veterancrafter decided to build myself a mansion. I drew up a huge plan- 70x40 house, several open rooms, glass ceilings, etc.

It looked like crap. The inside decor was just fine, but the outside was pretty much a 3-D stone brick box. This is where vEchozZ stepped in, and I'm very grateful. He showed me that I needed to spruce up the outside, and add some decor- stairs, slabs, etc. It turned out looking a lot better, in my opinion. It's at /res tp StsMansion if you care to take a look, and I've posted a few pics with this post. Just get creative on the outside of your home  It's OK to try some things out in creative first, or even start over from scratch in-game.
