Hey!

I have built, with Danweldore, a horse racing curcuit! It isn't large, its fairly small, but it is cool! The track is made for horses. I was wondering if we could set up an event there, maybe? There are stables, almost done, where you'll be able to leave your horse while you wait for the race to begin. For those donors, you can do "/res tp HorseRaceTrack" to get to the curcuit easily. So uh, theres not much else to say, but to show pictures!

Message to mods: If we were to have an event, it would be a bring your own horse. Also, If we were to have an event, i will set up a redstone piston gate for the starting line.

Vecho,

If you are willing to plan the event and follow the standards of our events team, that'd be great. Just let me know. If it's too late to do it this Saturday, next saturday is good too.

Thanks guys! :D

I'll get to work, Meat! Should have the finishing touches done today, then start testing! This saturday is fine.

**For the blog post**

  • Players will have to bring their own horse.
  • Spectators ARE allowed on the grass around the edge of the track, there are also spectator stands with ladders on the columns.
  • Horses CAN jump over the fences but it is against the race rules, and should be disqualifed and/or kicked for it (It's pretty clear to see if someone cheated on such a small track).
  • Players may NOT interfere with other players' horses, so no punching other horses!
  • All horses must be able to jump over 2 ½ blocks!

Coords for the [Warp] teleport is: x:-1837 y:63 z:-1367.

Thanks!

Are you going to be able to be there the normal time?

I'll pay out the normal price for prize in shillings.

I am sorry this is so late man, been so busy with work. I'm only thankful VeteranCraft doesn't rely on my lame butt when it comes to making VC awesome.

Email me at info@veterancraft.net with a reply to make sure we get it going:

If you're around next Sat I think that would be good for an official event. I will have time to put up a blog post and promote appropriately. Let me know if that works (via emaiL)

Echo I replied to your email but never heard back. Do you want to host this event for Saturday or what?
