Hello,

There is a rail spur off the VRW West Line that runs south to Silver Dollar City along the x: -5800 axis. I'm not sure who owns the residence at SDC or who built the railroad, but I am requesting to build 2 train stations along the spur.

The first will be at x -5800, z 1100 and serve my castle, HurlsCastle (which I hope to turn into a town at some point).

The second train station will be at x -5800 and z 1333 and serve a castle currently under construction by DarklingStallion (my younger brother who first got me hooked on minecraft ;-) )

The location of both castles in relation to the spur is entirely coincidental, but works in everyone's favor since the spur would be able to serve 3 towns/castles without adding any more track. Both stations would feature powered rails to stop minecarts that need to be activated by a switch/button to continue traveling on. There is no residence along the line, but if I could get a definitive permission to build these stations, that would be great. Thanks!

A staff member will need to research that line and see who owns it and whether they're still active.  If they are, you will need their permission to build the stations.

I can't get on until this evening, but if any staff is on you can ask them to check.  If not, then in the meantime I would look for signs or Residences that would let you know who owns it.

Ok; I just had Dalferes look into it. He said SilverDollarCity is owned by blockxxcrafter35 (spelling?), who was last active 10 days ago. He said to go ahead with the stations and that if there's an issue, to take it up with him.

Good enough for me!  Go for it!  Just make sure he knows what's going on ASAP, and be sure to respect the rail line as it exists.
