Stole some old screenshots from the forums of the first mc server Chazmeister13, heineken8119, myself, and Odissa played on.  Chaz had the dream of making a replica of the Tardis from Dr. Who.  At the time the sky limit was 127 or 129 I forget which and sheep would give wool if punched, and the best way to get more sheep to spawn was to of course, kill the sheep.  Untold sheep were killed and punched as the Tardis took about 10k blue wool.  We basically had to trade everything we had with anyone that would trade us lapis (something I still hoard for no good reason to this day from the trauma).  Roughly took from March 2011 - Sept 2011 because of land clearing, sheep punching and efforts to trade for lapis to dye sheep.  Those odd blocks in one picture would be clouds that used to make anything over y level 115 look like you were in a sauna as they came thru, was hard to get shots without them hiding the top.  Stair stepping the land around the pit so you could see the base also took a couple months.
