Hello there!

Vyscaryska and I recently built a large dome under the ocean at -2251, 1232. We stopped the top of the dome at 5 blocks under the surface of the water- but we were wondering if we could have the dome peak out at the top of the water, and then we would build another dome, exactly like the submerged one, on top- just upside down.. 

 

Just wanted to make sure this isn't breaking any rules.

What would be the point of the inverted dome? Can you please include some screenshots of the construct so far?

axymoron gave us the approval to build, but to formally post on the forums as well. 

 

Pertaining to our build, we have decided to change gears and build a sphere. We are including a tree house inside. We felt an eye-opening sphere would be some nice eye candy for anyone sailing to our builds from that side of the map.

As you can see, she swiftly changed her plans when i showed her that there would be next to no building room inside in an inverted dome. We've completed almost half of the sphere, and Roseis is furnishing our tree house. You can see our dome underneath the sphere.

yes . ty for posting this Rosie . Sry i was behind on commenting on this thread.  the above water portion of this build , is the mirror of below, in minature.  usually i would never have asked to have u continue to build, but the work done on your build is quite nice, and like you i thought it may be a great addition keeping with your style/build.
