Now that New Glacia has a sky dock, how about a community balloon between New Market and New Glacia? For those of use with a limited number of homes, it would be great to have quick access between both markets, without relying on /spawn and running to a ship every time.
I was thinking about a caravan theme, or something "shilling", maybe diamond related perhaps, for as much of a theme as we're able and allowed to get out of a balloon.
It's been a while since reading the topic on portal ships and balloons, but I thought it was cheaper, and without the reoccurring fee to have a vessel link between two points outside of the spawn island (Exodus?). I've got about 10k to put toward the fee right now.

I think its a great idea.
Unfortunately, Windows 10 has made it impossible for me to play Minecraft, at least temporarily. I have an older computer and when I upgraded it to Windows 10 it updated my video driver to one that is not compatible with Minecraft. I should be able to find and download the old video driver, but I haven't had the time to do so lately.
Until then, I won't be able to setup the subclaim needed for an airship in New Market.

Thanks Adml, Greens.
So as a general update, I've built a balloon on the New Glacia end, and I'm currently waiting for the design to be approved in this thread. (http://www.veterancraft.net/fo.....oval-ngnm/)
Hopefully that process and any changes that may be required will give us time for Greens' situation to be sorted, and work can begin on the New Market side.
I currently have 30k to put toward the portal fee, and with gracious pledges by AdmlAdama and Tedisvet, we should have the total 50k covered.
Fingers crossed that everything works out and we'll have quick and easy transportation between Arda's two major markets. Thanks again for everyone's help!

FYI, I was able to install Minecraft on a Surface Pro 3 with Windows 10. Then again it was just the client. I haven't tried using Forge, Optifine, and other mods with it yet.
