Hello folks! I meant to type this thread up last night... but I was at a nasty nighttime paintball game.
So most of you have been shown partial images of my Kingdom, as well as Sgt_Hurls'. But I wasn't going to spoil the entire town, as the Thuringia Thread is mostly for Lore-type uses. So I guess my former towns are a great way to start the thread:
Mithundril
- Mithundril was one of the best projects I ever worked with on VeteranCraft, and one of my favorites in Minecraft. Sadly, its fate was determined once the Arda Update came out, and I sold it to the Server. However, Mithundril offered me with three basic features that I will use in Vivol: 1). Medieval-Style Buildings, 2). Event Arena projects, 3). I will work with the terrain. This was an amazing project, however, I feel that Vivol will be ten times better.
Sparta
- Gasps of horror, no, Sparta was not at all my favorite, and was actually my least favorite project on Minecraft. I pumped time, money, and resources into Sparta that could've gone towards a simple project like Mithundril. Another big element that made Sparta tank was the difficult, and tasking building style: Greek. Not only is it very tough, I spent little time planning each build and it sucked. The next big failure, was that Sparta was very dramatic, thanks to its two doofus brothers: lbraff and NetherSpartan5. Lastly, it was flat, and it turned into a helluva a mess. These features make it one of the worst projects I've ever done.
- Ah, the Golden Years of VeteranCraft. When I first joined the server during the Holidays of 2012, I quickly got to work on a Nethery Castle that was absolutely a BLAST to build. However, Mineshaftia I is no more and is rather a waste site, plagued by the stains of the dreaded griefers. Mineshaftia II didn't live up to its former town and happened to be yet another failure of mine. However, it was built in a swamp, and remained flat. Nothing will be carried over from these towns.
- Large, diverse biomes ripe for building and perfect for scenery.
- Massive cave systems underneath. Multiple spawners, two seperate mineshafts and a couple of caverns.
- Shoreline to the South. Maybe a port to other kingdoms?
- Tons of islands, perfect for militarized castles.
- Capitols: These are the large towns. Have full authority over other fiefs and villages, and are used entirely for Government purposes. Capitols: Crumine and Havenshurg.
- Island Castles: These defend our coastlines, and are the first line of defense against the invaders. Island Castles: Brinseg Castle, Hovern's Rock and The Shield.
- Fortresses: Defend our inland villages. The lone fortress is Agolin.
- Regional Castles: Control our inland villages and make sure they're in order. Regional Castles: Netheria and Boernsjord.
- Villages: These are for server purposes and are they meeting point for events. Villages: Haggoth, Klasiem, Ouk, Njord, Sparun and Lakeview.
- Warrion King: NetherSpartan the 5th
- Warrion General: Sgt_Hurls
- Captain: sioustorm
- Messenger: lbraff
Oh, I almost forgot. My current lineup for buildings:

Thanks, MackFather! I've enjoyed the photos from Elysium as well! Looks pretty cool . Currently I'm designing the castle Netheria and hopefully I can hop on sometime this week to finish it.

Alright folks! I've been kicking the can down the road, and the Kingdom of Aelfheim post reminded me. Here is what has been happening in Vivol.
Current Information:
I had almost every inch of Vivol planned, and as soon as the 3D-Layer on the Dynmap was created, I checked Vivol's Landscape. Turns out, an area I had not yet explored was a massive hill and my plans were designed for a flat-city to go there. I fixed the flaw and moved onto better things, constructing the beginnings of Netheria Castle. While pondering about an Oceanic Beachfront Wall, I noticed Haggoth's layout could use some adjustments. So I worked for hours on a new scheme, and I came up with a castle that protects an inner city. On the outer rim of the castle, there will be scattered buildings that rest along the roadway. These buildings make up the Village of Ouk, meaning Haggoth will be converted into an "Inland Castle" instead of a Fief/Village.
In other news, I've begun recording a series for VeteranCraft once again. Check it out if you have time and want to hear my constant breathing in the background. Due to possible advertisement issues, I'll refrain from posting it. Also, two new wonderful people will be joining Sgt_Hurls and I as we build the Thuringia Region. They are xXMachineGunXx and djayz1. Both will be helping me in Vivol, while djayz1 works on the islands to the South of me.

The Great Castle of Haggoth
Architect: NetherSpartan5
Architecture: Medieval and Steampunk
Classification: Inland Castle
Information: Haggoth is now the largest settlement in Vivol, for now, but it holds special value to me. One, it's the first town I started inside Vivol, second, it's where I will open Vivol to the public. I've already discussed most of the plans for Haggoth, but I left out the biggest reason why I revamped Haggoth. It's the center of Vivol, and the perfect location for a Transportation Hub. Sadly, I'm pretty much out of things to talk about. So here are some screenshots (Please don't comment on the stone brick features, I want to make sure I have the correct designs in Creative).

Well folks, I haven't been on in a while, and I've still got IRL problems going on.My knee has healed and hopefully it will stay that way, but my job has become very time consuming. It is a good problem, yes, as my wife and I do enjoy working. But I fear this may be the end of Vivol. The massive projects I planned on VeteranCraft are all closed down. Thank goodness I didn't flatten the land...
Now, what does this mean for your Spartan? I may resort to helping out Sgt_Hurls and his kingdom, and become a nomad.
For Vivol? I will remove the claim, and open any chests in the area for free. All buildings will remain, and will sit as a memorial to the former town. As I have stated before, the area is VERY nice and you won't find any scars left behind.
