New Town- Airhaven | Cities & Towns | Forum

Hello! It's me, UnOrthodox99 again, creator of Windborro!

I haven't been on the server recently, mostly due to the 1.6 delay but also due to other things as well. Anyway, In that time I was on a quest. A quest to find a server with a great community where I could build my next project. I searched for a long time, just about all summer, but alas I could not find any that would support my endeavor. But I realized I had already found the perfect server! Veterancraft!

Thus, with 1.7 coming out in the next few months, I will be starting work on a new town, Airhaven. And yes, the name is borrowed from the Mortal Engine series, by Phillip Reeve.

Now, this is where I need permission for my build. You could probably assume from the name, the city will have lots to do with the sky and air. Its not so much of a city as much as a massive airship with building piled on top. So, since its an Airship, It has no contact with the ground and will be completely airborne. I've attached several pictures of a prototype built in creative and I'd like the mods to review the design and let me know if I could build it. Keep in mind that my floating islands at windborro were approved, so this wouldn't be the first exception to the rule.

I also had one other idea with this idea- If every so often it was world-edited and copy/pasted around the map above major cities like it was moving around. This probably is impossible with the residence cuboids and other plugins and stuff, but I figured It would add a very unique element to our server. Anyway, just an idea, its probably impossible anyway.

But one thing at a time, yes?
