I was recently banned for letting a cave spider farm become vastly overpopulated, which was a gross misuse of valuable server resources. This occurred for three main reasons.  First, that particular farm has two spider spawners and it employs a batch style resource recovery system as shown in this youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v.....n33h5QYcL4.  This means that the spiders accumulate and then are all slain at once, albeit not to the extent that they accumulated this time.  The second and more relevant reason this occurred is because I left my computer.  I was called away from it to deal with family issues and I thought that I either disconnected or went into AFK mode.  When I returned my computer screen was off so I thought for sure that I must have either disconnected or went into AFK mode, but when I moved the mouse I saw the spiders and frantically began the process of slaying them.  I was maybe a little over half way done slaying them when I was banned.

I know that this was a misuse of server resources and I apologize to all effected; and I assure you that it was unintentional.  I have recently completed the "newbie" trials, and understand most if not all of the rules and what is expected of a Veteran.

Respectfully,

Jonathan H.

*two main reasons

I misspoke when I said that there were three main reasons for the overpopulation of the spider farm.  I was going to say something about an Auto AFK function but I am currently unsure if VC has such a function or if it would prevent this event.  Also it would be unbecoming to pass blame when it is clearly my fault for not properly disconnecting or going into AFK mode.
