i was banned today, not sure why, all i did was ask about getting paid for tweeting and facebooking about how awesome vc is and no one answered, next thing i knew i was banned, it would be nice to at least know why, i dont see how its fair to bann someone without telling them why or letting them know....my username is mojojojo86, i would appreciate a response asap because i play this server everyday and until know have done nothing but sing its praises to my friends, hopefully this is a mistake or someone mistook me for someone else, like i said all i did was ask who was in charge of payment for tweeting and facebooking about vc and with no response was instantly banned, thanks

i never saw a message from jonthepope, if i would have i would have no problem returning his coal, like i said ive done nothing but praise this server even considered getting a upgrade but it was not made clear to me why i was kicked or what happened. if i can be unbanned i will be more than happy to return the coal, but for future reference it would be nice to have clearer communication from admin to players because i never saw a message from jon the pope in my message center or a request for party chat, thanks for the quick response pitts

also i still never recieved an answer as to who to contact for payment for twitter, i did that weeks ago and have never recieved payment and no one seemed to have any idea as to who i could contact, and like i just said if pope had sent me a direct message or asked me to join a party chat this wouldnt happen and vc wouldnt be losing a potential future customer, thanks again

oooh - I tried so hard to refrain from posting, but I just had to....
This would be like if someone wandered into your house (in real life) and took your DVD collection. The cops chase them down but they are listening to their music too loud to hear the sirens. The cops ram them off the road and put them in jail. Then the dude says, "What, I didn't hear the cops! If mojojojo86 or the cops would have only told me to put the DVD collection back I would have. In fact, I was gonna give mojojojo86 a bunch of money so he could get a new car or something. But now that you arrested me, I guess he'll have to keep riding his crappy bike - his loss!"
EVEN THOUGH - there are laws posted (not our fault if you didn't read the rules) about stealing.
That's how crazy you sound to me. You are not one bit sorry that you broke the rules. If fact, you are saying it's Jon's fault for not trying hard enough to get you to give his stuff back...
I don't know whether to laugh or smack my head into the wall...

wow hannah not sure why you are involved, and i was sorry and did everything to make things right, and there was no clear message to me as to what was happening, you did not see the whole picture so i dont see why you have to put your two sense in, you make total sense but your "analagy" is not even close to what had actually happened

Mojo, you really need to watch what you have been saying, ESPECIALLY after Jon was nice enough to let you be unbanned after stealing 2,500 coal from him and not posting a great appeal. Hannahbrian can put all the "cents" in that he would like, and he was fairly spot on with what he was saying.

Unless Jon told you to take the coal, it was stealing. I hope it was different from that. Too many people do exactly what I described, and are only sorry they were caught. They almost always say they were going to donate and that they tell all their friends about this server. This is a textbook ban appeal, and like I said, I hope it was different and you had a legitimate reason to take stuff from someone...

Just as a last note: Apparently you griefed and stole more things from Jonthepope but he is STILL letting you off the hook. I strongly suggest to not do anything else against the rules, so read up.

I'm just going to chime in one last time to say to mojo that you're extremely lucky my staff has been merciful to you to give you a second chance. I suggest you eat crow and beg for jon's and everyone else's forgiveness. If I got a hold of this post before ryan I might have answered exactly as hannahbrian (a respected staff member by the way) answered you, then promptly banned you.
You're not entitled to a pardon. You're privileged to get a 2nd chance.
And using the 'I was gonna donate' excuse also has no weight whatsoever in breaking the rules. Read previous ban appeals and you'll see you aren't the first to use this method.
For the record: I turned down $100 a month to someone who asked for fly permissions. We've banned viceroys! Your money doesn't exclude you from the same rules and conduct as everyone else.
That said, I appreciate anyone who donates, and we even have donors who came back after their 2nd chance, and become respected contributing members of the server but I just hope you understand you're the one who has something to lose here. Please be grateful you got a 2nd chance and please don't screw it up.
I hope to see you here for a long time, and I wish you the most success.
EDIT: and forget your twitter bonus. I'm not taking time out of my day to go out of my way to track down your twitter follow after this you're lucky I don't charge you 50,000 shillings for an unban fee, and how dare you even bring that up in this conversation...

I have one question; Why are we bothering to discuss this in such detail? Clearly he lacks maturity and common sense, and all of this is just wasting our time and bit space in the forums. Ban him and be done with it; let's move on to more promising members for which there is real hope.
