Banned for Staff's Ignorance | Ban Appeal | Forum

So, I was defending another player's rights and was banned for my basic freedom of speech, because I didn't know questioning someone's wrongful authority means that I was eligible to be banned.

Here is what happened: Axymoron was drilling Flamekiller123 about what he was building, and he responded with "a pyramid." Well, Axymoron didn't seem to like his answer and told him that he should read the building rules before he was banned. Anyhow, I took a moment to look over the building rules after Flamekiller123 said that it was only temporary because he was building downwards, and I found the rule: "No 1×1 towers or floating structures, unless they are temporary scaffolding." Now, obviously Axymoron doesn't know what "temporary" means, but he didn't seem to like that I didn't agree that it was fair to be so rude and ignorant to another player because he has the power to be. Anyways, because I defended another player's rights in-game I was given the ban-hammer because Axymoron seemed to not want his power-of-authority questioned by rules that he never read. So, I was wrongfully banned because I was defending someone else, and questioning the authority of someone who did not want to re-read the rules. I never knew freedom of speech wasn't free in Minecraft. Sorry for trying to be a decent person and defend someone who didn't deserve to be given an ultimatum wrongfully.

P.S. If the staff wanted to prove a point, he should have been specific about what he meant, rather than threaten with the ban-hammer. So, just because I don't think it's right to throw power around without rules and more information to back it up, I get banned. Also, another staff member should re-read the chat pertaining to this incident. Thank you!
